Persimon dye
The blue astringent persimmon is mashed, the juice is squeezed, fermented and aged.
Since ancient times, it has been used as a dye and a paint for daily life objects such as fishing nets, Japanese umbrellas, furniture, paper patterns, sake bags, and uchiwa.
The juice of a green persimmon has a light green color, however, when fermented and left to rest, it gradually turns dark brown.
It is a persimmon astringent dyeing that is dyed by soaking threads in this persimmon astringent liquid over and over again.
Persimmon astringency is also attractive because you can enjoy different facial expressions (dyeing condition) depending on the season of dyeing, temperature and humidity.

Yarn dye
The persimmon astringent fabric that is used for Grandeur Plus is a fabric woven by "yarn dyeing".
We repeat the process of soaking the fabric in persimmon astringent liquid in the state of "thread" and drying it.
Since the entire thread is used, the inside of the fabric is dyed firmly, and it is characterized by a very "tasty" color.

Mixed woven fabric
The persimmon astringent indigo fabric used for Grandeur Plus is a mixed weave fabric which is woven with different threads for the warp thread (indigo) and the weft thread (persimmon astringent).

100% cotton (yarn dyed) purely domestic (production control in Banshu region)

All are dyed by hand, so the fabric is easily affected by the natural environment such as the time of dyeing, climate, and temperature. Please note that the "texture" and "color" may differ slightly depending on the lot of fabric.
