In this watch design, Chōjū-giga (Animal Caricatures) portrays a scene of joy of the frog and the rabbit from an ancient picture scroll.

About Chōjū-giga Design
The Frog and rabbit were selected as motifs from one of the Chōjū-giga.
They depict the lovely personified animals and seen as the origin of manga.
Asanoha monyo (stylized hemp leaf pattern) and sayagata monyo (key fret pattern) are also arranged in a cloud motif.
The same pattern is used on the watch strap.
