The Italian leather is a leather that has been soaked in plenty of oil. Oiled leather is soft and moist to the touch, and has a deep color and gloss. It is a process that takes an enormous amount of time to slowly soak the special oil into the leather. The result is a leather that is moist and smooth to the touch, and whose color and luster change deeply with use. It is also resistant to dryness and requires very little maintenance.
