Tango is the land where most of the Japanese kimono fabrics are woven.
The peculiar climate, with "uranishi" winds that contain moisture from autumn to winter, is suitable for the weaving of raw silk, which tends to break easily due to dryness.
"Tango Chirimen" is the general term for textiles woven in this land.
The Tango Chirimen weaving technique has been refining for over 300 years since the Edo period, and is used to create Japan's finest kimonos. Among them, the Tango Jacquard weave, which requires meticulous materials, design and craftsmanship, is used for this watch strap.

Strap
The Jacquard silk weave used this time is of the highest quality fabric used for kimono "Ro (gauze), Sha(silk), and Ra (lightweight fabric)". The fabric is very difficult to weave using machinery due to the complicated and delicate structure where warp threads intersect. By weaving the fibers three-dimensionally and slowly aerating them by hand, the prismatic effect of light is created to bring out the rich luster of the silk.


Color: TANGO BLUE
A line dot texture created with a tangle weave uses thin white threads for the three-dimensional effect. The three-dimensional shade and the black warp add elegance to the fabric. TANGO BLUE is a deeply dyed color of blue that matches the color of the sea in Tango, Kyoto.

Case
The watch is housed in a vintage jewelry box-inspired case, exuding an aura of timeless elegance and sophistication. The windshield uses crystal glass with a cut on the side of the rounded surface instead of the flat-shaped glass. Together with the rhinestones on the crown, it shines like a durable yet modest piece of jewelry.
